AJ & Ash Engaged!

Congrats to AJ & Ashley on their engagement this weekend!  AJ proposed to Ash at the top of Grey's Peak and surprised her with a fabulous party with all their friends & family at The Keg.  We are so excited for them! 

Home is the Best

We surprised my mom in Chicago for her birthday, such a blast!  The weekend was spent with a lot of much needed family & friend time.  We did the Pedal Hopper with all of my mom's best friends and spent the rest of the time at the house BBQ'n with all the one's I love!  Happy Birthday, Mom!

NYC

I left Chicago Sunday for a week spent in NYC for work.  We attended 'Book Expo America' - I will leave the work stuff to a minimum and share the more exciting highlights... 

A stop at Billy's bakery for some banana bread and carrot cake cupcakes (if you're ever in NYC you've got to pick yourself up some), then lunch on the patio at this great French restaurant Robyn and I stumbled upon... where we ran into Ethan Hawk!

The celebrity spotting does not stop there my friends, I also saw the lady with the Worlds Biggest Afro!!! :)  This was at the Guinness Book of World Records booth @ the show. 

They had the world's largest basketball player there as well - he was 7'7.  Still debating what's more awkward about this photo - how tall this guy is or this poor woman's underwear lines... ha.
